Owner & founder, Scott Fressie, is a union journeyman carpenter and has been in the construction industry long before starting Fressie’s Finish in 2002. Over the years, Scott had led projects for respected NW Ohio general contractors. He took part in establishing the top builder in Ohio. Additionally, he served as one of the top builders at a local home building company among 17 other franchisees. These experiences shaped his expertise in both custom home construction and large-scale volume building.
Today, Fressie’s Finish LLC brings that depth of knowledge to every project, with a focus on quality, precision, and customer satisfaction. From the foundation to the roof and everything in between, every detail is handled with skill and care. A major milestone in Fressie’s Finish LLC’s growth came with the addition of Izik Basinger to the team. Izik joined right out of Waite High School after completing the school’s carpentry program, which is taught by a longtime union carpenter and friend of Scott’s. When Scott mentioned he was looking to bring on a dependable worker, his friend immediately recommended Izik. Inviting him onboard turned out to be one of the best decisions for the company. Since joining Fressie’s Finish over five years ago, Izik has shown unmatched dedication and reliability. His strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to quality have helped the company take on more projects and continue delivering the craftsmanship clients have come to expect.
Over the years, Scott has specialized in custom home construction throughout Northwest Ohio, including lakefront properties in Marblehead, Lakeside, and Catawba. Building on the water often comes with unique challenges, from working on rocky terrain to jackhammering foundations, but Scott’s hands-on experience and problem-solving skills ensure every build is done right, no matter how tough the job.
